38 +/- acres mixed timberland hunting tract in LaSalle Parish, LA
This is a true Sportsman’s Paradise hunting tract crammed into 38 acres. A small box stand sits in the center of this property with four shooting lanes/food
plots. On the edge of these lanes you will find several small sloughs that meander through the pines. These small water holes have provided successful
early morning wood duck shoots year after year. Funny Louis Creek and Bear Branch hardwood bottoms on the South and East boundaries provides great
squirrel and turkey hunting as well as some fishing.
Excellent deer management has been the cornerstone of ownership here. In 2010, a Sixteen-point whitetail was harvested from the box stand that scored
174” B&C. Since then only a select few bucks have been killed. With only mature bucks being harvested on this property and surrounding properties,
the opportunity to harvest a great deer is excellent. The tract has received minimal hunting pressure.
The tract was clear cut in 2006. It now has regenerated mixed timber growth.
